Pastoral Team
It’s my desire to help people come to a fuller understanding of the plans and purpose God has for them, and in doing so, take a step in the right direction towards reaching their ultimate redemptive potential. I want them to know that He thinks they’re awesome and to really believe that He loves them more than they could ever imagine.
If I can“have it my way” I will never leave youth ministry. My passion is to work with students and the Gateway student leadership team to create epic events that will change lives and, as a result, change our culture. And I believe that, with God’s help, it is entirely possible!
Parenting can be the most rewarding job we will ever have. It can also be the most challenging, frustrating and exhausting one. I want parents to know that they don’t have to do it alone; that we’re here to help them. I also want them to know that God is on their side; that He loves them, He loves their children and He wants the best for them!
Ministries here at Gateway are designed to facilitate growing, maturing and the working out of our salvation. Spiritual and emotional health and wholeness are essential pursuits for every believer, if they are going to live a victorious life and be a part of advancing God’s Kingdom. I believe that a wholistic process of discipleship, where body, soul and spirit come under the direction and life changing touch of God as His Word and His Spirit, will guide and transform our lives.
I’m the music guy. But I guess there’s some speaking and counselling and organizing and other stuff in there too, so sometimes I’m not sure what I am! What I do know is that I love serving at Gateway. And I believe that God desires for us to use the gifts and talents He’s given us, to do what He’s called us to do – encourage believers in their faith, proclaim the good news about Jesus to the world, show God’s love in practical ways, and ultimately glorify Him in everything. Is it easy? Not a chance. If it was, it would likely mean we’re doing what WE want instead of what HE wants. I know I don’t always succeed, but I really want to try my best to go for option two.
