    General Elements of the Program

    Games, sports, video games, worship music by the CG house band, talks, discussions, snacks, small groups*, videos, speeches, giving and lets not forget “kick the can.”

    *Small groups: Each student attends a small group which will consist of at least one adult leader meeting with the same group of students each week. Here we keep up to date with our students, announce upcoming events, discuss the theme of the night and pray together. Leaders are encouraged to sit and talk to students as they hang out before and/or after hours.

    Section Youth Rallies

    A combined youth service and time of fellowship with other youth groups in the London area. They consist of a typical youth service: worship, games, giving, fellowship, preaching and prayer time. The goal is to encourage our students and others across London that they are not alone.

    Mission Trips, Retreats, Conventions and Camps

    These trips have significant value in a student’s life. We have seen exponential spiritual growth in students who take a whole weekend or week to focus on God and to be with their Christian friends. We believe these events are really important in their walk with Jesus and try to do each one of these events each year.

    Summer Program

    We switch from weekly meetings to two events and two discussion nights each month, from June to August. We join the Livewire students for events such as Christian camp services and our annual trip to Canada’s Wonderland. This reduced schedule gives our leaders the opportunity to rest and be ready for their leadership commitment in the fall.

    Common Ground House Band

    This is a team of student musicians, singers, sound techs and imaging operators.
